LD called me a few times from the show, he was at the soundcheck and she was doing two new songs. Ones neither of us have ever heard.

new song inspired by the war, blah blah...
It is kinda distored but I think she said "America" or "Americans" I am sure Mike and Katia will help me out... She said she knew she was sure she would fuck it up.

So I went over to the field house around 4pm. Met up with some of the other NESSAholic's. Snuck into the sound check, Vanessa was practicing a new song called "Ameriteen" it's about i'm guess being was and being drafted and going away as one of the lines is "mama's packing up on thursday cause bombs are dropping this afternoon" and there are other lines that reference war, and Vanessa even said that thats what it's about. She was also practicing "Afterglow" which sounded amazing!

Not too much talk about anything new, the setlist was short here's the run down. She did however reference her underwear showing and that she's thinking of bringing back Swindler for the next album but adding a brass section to it =)

~C'est La Vie (New intro no more pink floyd, now Ludvig swings in adn does a solo then Vanessa comes out)
Papa
Unsung
Rinse
Prince
Ameriteen
Swindler
Wanted
Sway
A Thousand Miles
Ordinary Day
Paint It Black
*****
She Floats
Twilight.

Met up with Vanessa after the show, she was very nice seemed happy that alot of us were there and we talked abotu the Ithaca show and her playing Afterglow and Superhero and what she had to say about Superhero was "Britney Spears can have Superhero"  which i can only guess means. Anyways I met a bunch of the NESSAholic's here's a rough list of who was there

Mike (Lostdwarf)
Gina (NYNessaholicGina)
Emily (AdoroVC)
Roger (Wherestheparty)
Lindsey (Clammers14)
Nikki (DancerNL)
Kaysha (Katia)
Melly (Luvabugg12)

It was a really good meet-up and i'm sooooo glad I finally got to meet Gina and Melly~!!!!!!!!!!!!! they are sooooo sweeeeeeeeeeet!!
Ok bedtime another show tomorrow
