Wow, 5 years!
I remember being in 8th grade and begging my mom to pick me up the cd on the release date. I didn't even know why I wanted it (I never have been a cd person), but I insisted on it. Good choice by me.
I can't believe so much time has passed!

So I was just thinking... Since Harmonium is being cut, will there still be a songbook released? I mean, it would make sense that it wouldn't be... right?

Does anyone have an updated information about the songbook since she isn't releasing a second single?

This is really sad... I thought Harmonium was a great album, and with enough exposure it would do well...

I BLAME IT ON ALL THE TALENTLESS BASTARDS OUT THERE PRODUCING "MUSIC".

This is a good time to rant about how stupid music is today.
Well have all these stupid people TALKING in songs, with the same beat over and over. Honestly, 95% of the board could do that crap.
Take Gwen's new song. I know people like it, ok, it's catchy, I admit. But HONESTLY... How much talent does that take? Does she sing? No.

Then comes along a young lady with a great voice and awesome piano skills and writes most of her songs... And people don't CARE because they would rather listen to some of that shit on the radio!

I think we need to make a time machine... and warp Vanessa back to the days where real music counted.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the new album... Hopefully it doesn't get pushed back too far, I want it as a graduation present!!

redneck=my town

Rednecks aren't necessarily farmers...
But they tend to be.

I would define redneck as a small town person. They don't have much culture, maybe have never been to a city bigger than 20,000.

--They are especially ignorant about different cultures and races.

--They will make fun of people that are different. Black/Gay/Bi/Latino/German. If you are a minority, you are in danger.

--Many of them like to underage drink. Then they brag about it. To the teachers even.

--Duct tape fixes life

--They listen to country music over anything

--They NEVER wash their trucks

--Many are bible belt... So they think. That's their reasons to hate gays and such... But they totally blind themselves towards to love thy neighbors and no sex before marriage bits.

--They usually have slutty girls with them. No one knows why.

--Hunters.

--Generally Republicans (No, I'm not offending anyone, but the typical ones here are republicans)

There are many more qualifications, but I didn't put them all down.

Not all rednecks follow those traits, but if you would jumble them all together, you would get a majority of those traits.

After all that said, there are some good rednecks that just like to live the simple life... The rest of them are assholes.

Yes.

But that doesn't mean going around throwing yourself at everybody.

I believe in sex before marriage, when you are in a long, stable relationship OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL.

I don't want to have sex in high school, I mean can't high school be confusing and complicated enough? I sure think so. I don't want sex to make it more complicated.

I do NOT want to be called a "Mrs." my husband's name.
I think it's so annoying...
I know most women give up their last name in marriage.
