My Pirates thread made me think of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.  Johnny Depp's going to make a fantastic Willy Wonka...What do you guys think?

Has that been made official yet?  I heard it was being tossed around but no official word.  Burton's version is going to be veeeerrrryyy interesting.  I love his work though.  Mars Attacks! is one of my all-time favorite movies.  :D

It is official and the script is finished.  Johnny Depp is signed.  And it's being made by Jen and Brad's production company in association with Warner Brothers.

the book was good, and the movie(besides being a tad bit scary) was good too :D

I doubt that it could ever be as good as the original film. That was a stone cold classic :)

That movie looks like such crap!

I hate Johnny Depp his acting is crap to go with his ugly crap face!

Every movie he looks/acts like he's drunk, just suffered a hang over, is on drugs, or has had drugs the day before.

I will not see this movie, the casting is awful, especially because Johnny Depp is in it.

This will be a must see movie of the summer!! I mean I liked the old one but i got a bit freaked out. Now with Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka. It will rock!!!!

well, it's going to be a much darker movie than Willy Wonka because this movie is based off the book not the movie and in the book Willy W. was kind of evil...bad.. haha

that you can go to Yahoo movies and watch the trailer. It is the best thing ever, its kinda scary at first but then its hilarious... I just have one question. Whats better, Gum lines or rum lines? I have a feeling of some witty Captain Jack Sparrow Rum like humor.
