Completely Off-Topic / Walk Now for Autism

Hey everyone.  Next Saturday I'm doing a walk for Autism in Rochester, NY.  This cause is incredibly important to me; I work with children on the Autism Spectrum and they mean the world to me.  This walk is to help fund research to find the cause/cure for Autism Spectrum Disorders. 1 in 150 individuals is diagnosed with autism, making it more common than pediatric cancer, diabetes, and AIDS combined.  If you have the means to do so, please help by donating on my online page.  Thanks so much you guys in advance.  Means the world to me!

Live Shows / 8/02/08 - Binghamton, NY Spiedie Fest

Sooo Vanessa is playing at the Spiedie Fest and Balloon Rally in my good ol' hometown of Binghamton NY on August 2nd.  Hope you all can go.  I can't.  I'll be working at a camp.  I'm so bummed that the ONE time she'll probably ever be here, I won't be able to be.

My friend Chris Nathan, who grew up in Buffalo NY moved to Nashville a couple years ago to really pursue the whole music thing.  He was in a really successful band in Buffalo, but needed something more.  He finally has his first full length album out.  He's got a little southern rock kind of vibe to him... he's really talented.  Hope you all will give him a listen.

Does anyone hear know of or like Blu Sanders?  I think he's an incredibly talented singer/songwriter.  I've recently been extremely obsessed with listening to him for some reason.  Give him a listen if you haven't already, on his site you can listen to a few of his songs.

They're going to be on Warped Tour this summer, they're an amazing band out of Atlanta.  They were on the Screaming is for Babies Tour, where I saw them with The Starting Line, Copeland & Gatsby's American Dream.  They're on tour right now touring the U.S. before Warped Tour starts.  Definately check them out especially if you like any of those bands... or perhaps Fall Out Boy or bands of that nature.  They're one of my favorites recently, got into them about about a year ago.  They put on an amazing live show.

hey guys... I wanted to ask if you all could help by giving any kind of donation possible for Relay For Life. I will be taking part in it on April 28th and would greatly appreciate any donation that you could make. This cause really hits home for me and many people close to me, and it would mean the world to me, them and many many others as well.  As some of you may know, my Grandpa passed away in August, and we really believe that it was cancer that took his life, and my Grandma is still fighting cancer right now as well as my best friends Aunt amoung many others that I know.  Thank you so much for your generosity.. if you can't donate, I understand (I'm a poor college student) I'd greatly appreciate your help and support by maybe asking others if they could donate.  Keep in mind, even a couple dollars will help.  Thanks again. Also, if anyone has a person that is dear to who is fighting, has survived or has passed away from Cancer and wants me to keep them in mind when I walk, I will absolutely do that.  

At our specific Relay location, which is called City Colleges, in the Buffalo area, we'll be having a concert at it including the Goo Goo Dolls, Jason Mraz, Ani DiFranco, This Day & Age and a band from my school Aside The Hero.  It'll be amazing, so if any of you live near Buffalo, this is a heads up on that.

Woke Up in Vegas is a band from Buffalo, NY... they just so happen to be my friends, so check them out and add them on myspace.  They're playing their last show with their current bassist this coming up week, and then they'll be just working on writing new stuff, and replacing Jake (the bassist).

I won't go into the whole story, but my Grandpa is dying, he's been fighting it for so long now, but it's now come down to the end   My family thankfully has all come together, to be there for him.  As many of you know, my Grandpa is one of the single most important people in my life, I love him more than I could ever express :cry:  I got the chance to tell him.  We came home early from our trip to Cali/Vegas.  Anyway, I'd really appreciate if you could keep him and my family in your thoughts and/or prayers.  It's a really rough time right now, and I just want him to be peaceful.  Thanks guys.
