I was in the dentist's chair undergoing a painful procedure when all of a sudden "A Thousand Miles" came on to the radio playing !!  What perfect timing for a visit from Vanessa...hearing her voice and picturing her beautiful face helped me get through it !! THANK YOU VANESSA !!!

I too have been a V fan for somewhere around 8 years, and have never once seen her live, this is my year, that's the biggest reason I want this album DONE!

Just wait 'til you see her in person.  However beautiful she looks in pictures, she is absolutely, drop-dead GORGEOUS in person.  When she performed at Joe's Pub in NYC at the end of '07 after H & T came out, we had the first table, literally touching the stage and maybe 6 feet away from her...breathtakingly beautiful...and SO talented...sigh...

Yet again, wishful thinking. I seriously don't know what I'd do with her. What would you guys do?

The best part about spending a day with Vanessa would be that when listening to that voice of hers which sends shivers up my spine, instead of closing my eyes and imagining that she was singing to me...she actually WOULD be singing to me
And I'd give her a foot massage and paint her toenails for her.

Since that you say that only her head was sticking out, maybe you think that she's beautiful, well she IS, and also that she's covered up might mean that you don't want to pork her, to be blunt about that.The kissing of the toes might reference to a way of worship. IDK That's my take on it.

This is really true and it makes a lot of sense if you knew me...very, very good.  Thanks !

Part of my dream last night...I walked into a room and Vanessa was in a big bed...alone...and completely covered by a blanket with only her head sticking out.  I walked over to the bed, pulled the bottom of the blanket off her feet, and kissed each of her toes...  
Wonder what this all means ? Anyone good at dream interpretation ?

Live Shows / 07/30/08: Irving Plaza NYC (review)

I was there last night too.  I thought V looked great - drop-dead gorgeous as always, but also happy and seemingly in a very good mood, lots of smiles.
It was a really good setlist.  I loved when Alexa came out to play trumpet on "Half a Week".
Standing on line outside, I was right next to the stage door.  All of a sudden it opened and out came...Vanessa and Victor to go for a little walk before the show  !!   And I was right there !!
Speaking of the line outside...who was the VERY FIRST person at the front of the line ?  Our very own (and also drop-dead gorgeous :wink: ) Nicole ("ILoveHanson" on these boards).  Now THAT'S a "Nessaholic" :lol: .  I showed her my "A Thousand Miles" ringtone :oops:
It's always just great to see the fabulously beautiful and amazingly talented Vanessa Carlton perform live.  She's the best

Yes it's a joke, The Onion is a "humor" publication.  But this is kind of a "diss" to our beloved Vanessa - as if to say hearing Her songs over and over again pushed the shooter over the edge.  
I know that I listen to Her songs over and over again and love them (and V) more each time

Anyone else notice in the video that her feet look kind of weird ?  Like maybe her toes are messed up from the ballet dancing ?  I do love the video, though, V looks ESPECIALLY beautiful in it (except for those feet lol)
