Creative Endeavors / 10th Year Anniversary of 'A Thousand Miles' - Tribute Montage

Well, I'm technically a week late, but I have valid excuses. The actual anniversary date was 2/12! Anyways, I worked relatively hard on this project. 2 very late nights, and one full day. This is what happens when you devote yourself to an artist and his/her works, and when your friends leave school to go home for President's Day weekend.

She's gorgeous! Another observation worth noting: V lost some weight! She looks like she's back in shape, must've been the dancing? I guess we'll be seeing her waltz through the graveyard

Entertainment - Movies / TV / Books / Face Off (TV series)

Has anyone checked out this show? It reminds me of Top Chef, Project Runway, and those other competitive reality shows, except with movie makeup madness. I personally find the art itself very fascinating, which is why I discovered 'Face Off' to begin with. It's on the Syfy channel, Wednesdays at 10pm I believe. Watch an episode if you get the chance.

It's a music video/montage titled, "When She Dances, She Goes & Goes". Here, I attempted to re-tell the story of Vanessa's ballerina past with the "White Houses" music vid. Katie Herzig's song "Lost & Found" seemed very spirited, uplifting, and just perfect for the interpretation.

It's been a while since I've practiced sketching, etc. So, I decided to pick up my Sharpie today and let loose. I'll be posting more renderings along the way.
This piece was inspired by "More Than This". Your hands are definitely something you should be grateful to have/ have had. Hence, the 'Edward Scissorhands' depiction. He was on my mind today as I heard "More Than This" playing in my head.
