She's currently playing Carousel. Beautiful.
Skye on violin, Ari on guitar, a guy on the sleighbells and another guy on the rhodes or harmonium or something.
They did the handclaps too.
Aww, such a lovely performance.

Fortunately, I downloaded and saved maag's transcription of "The Marching Line". I re-uploaded it on mediafire.

Well, I'm a "he" first and who you're talking about is a friend of mine too

I think that I was the guy right behind you.
Oops, sorry about that, I thought you were that girl!

Okay so I think you were the Asian dude with glasses, right behind me. You should have said hi anyway, hehe! :)

Yes, that was me! Well, it would've been a tad awkward... "Hi, I know you from online!"
haha, next time!

I'm putting more videos up soon  :)

Completely random, I was sitting almost at the front, and I recognized a few nessaholics up there. I didn't want to be awkward and say "Hi, my name is *insert username*"... all of us Nessaholics should really wear nametags at all the shows.
Weren't you that brunette standing next to me on the left side of the stage? (right in front of the Rhodes) Because she (you? Lol) knew all the lyrics to the new songs. And I took a pic of her and a friend.

Anywho, Kulpy and I were right up front! You should have said hi! I swear I don't bite! :p

Actually, no! Well, I'm a "he" first and who you're talking about is a friend of mine too, and we just serendipitously met at the concert.
I think that I was the guy right behind you.

That blows!! The bar we had drinks at before the show had signs that  said don't park at the rite aid you will be towed.

Gah, we had to walk around in the pouring rain with our posters trying to find a cab to the towing company.
We ended up shelling out $131, and it was just a nightmare. :/

Here are videos I took tonight (they're on facebook, but I set the privacy to 'everyone' and sorry for the shitty quality) --

Learning to Fly/Carousel
I Don't Want to Be a Bride
London
Who's To Say
A Thousand Miles
Fools Like Me
Tall Tales for Spring
The Marching Line (encore)

I went to this show tonight with my friend, and we just got home...
It was absolutely phenomenal. V certainly has a way of mesmerizing an audience, huh? There were some chatter (annoying drunk people...), but overall, the audience was captivated. Oh, and during White Houses, someone brought a paper house attached to a popsicle stick and waved it around. Thought that was rather adorable.

After the show, I really wanted a set-list and so did this guy. He got up on stage and snagged one, but some of the venue people just came and grabbed the paper from him. I, however, grabbed the lyric sheet on the rhodes (it was for Fools Like Me) but I put it back because the people looked so threatening...

Completely random, I was sitting almost at the front, and I recognized a few nessaholics up there. I didn't want to be awkward and say "Hi, my name is *insert username*"... all of us Nessaholics should really wear nametags at all the shows. It'll make for less awkwardness. Also, (this ventures into creepiness) who drove in with a car painted with lyrics from Ordinary Day and ATM on their windows? (I'm assuming you're a nessaholic) You parked at the Rite-Aid parking lot and we parked there too. We got towed... I just wanted to make sure you got home safely.

K, I'm done rambling. It's nice to be back and active on the boards again. Woot!

Creative Endeavors / Who's to Say (cover)
« on: January 03, 2010, 04:16:56 pm »
hi guys,

My friend and I did a cover of Who's To Say, and it's V's latest version with the " who we are, who we are, we are, we aaaaarreeee!" part. We added harmonies to it and such. Please watch/listen! :)

Really gorgeous waltz AND song, of course!
Edit: starts around 1:40

Since that you say that only her head was sticking out, maybe you think that she's beautiful, well she IS, and also that she's covered up might mean that you don't want to pork her, to be blunt about that. The kissing of the toes might reference to a way of worship. IDK That's my take on it.

Sooo... how did it go for those who went?
