My Dying Bride was formed by Aaron, Calvin and Rick in the summer of 1990. It is a British Gothic, Death/Doom band. They are one of the three bands responsible for the formation of Death/Doom metal. (along with Anathema and Paradise Lost)
New album entitled For Lies I Sire to be released on March 23rd of 2009!

I happened upon some pictures in a gothic group on Facebook and i really liked her style...i searched her lyrics and i totally fell in love!!
Im downloading alot of her songs as im typing this :razz:
So far my favs are Castle Down and the poem Goodbye!!
Amazing stuff!!!
and as far as the music goes (not the lyrics, just the music/melody) it was not what i expected becuz of her style...i guess i expected something more gothic/metal-ish :lol: but,nevertheless, she is awesome!!

I sang well! We didn't win....but we only lost by ONE POINT!!!!!! :O :lol:
I dont know how, but by show time, my voice was much better!
Now it's back to being hoarse but it's worth it cause we got to sing!

okay so my voice has been very hoarse since wednesday night i believe...i rested it til today (sunday) and its still a bit hoarse....its better than it was before definitely!
I have been drinking tea with honey, many times a day.
Hot, steamy showers too!
and some meds for my throat pain. (given to me by the doc)
...now i think i can sing...but my sister and i wont win the talent show with the voice i have now!
Is there anything quick and easy that might help get my voice all the way back?? I have less than 10 hours :S

I know French...in Lebanon we take it as a main language in school (along with English and Arabic) so ive been studying it since I first started school....i have a rich vocabulary...but my spelling and conjugation sucks! :oops: :lol: :lol:

i remember all that...i just finished watching season 1 as well (on DVD)
they dont air on TV here so my friends and I are waiting til theyre out on DVD to get the 2nd season...we're like dying of anticipation! LOL :lol:
I liked the show because it shows all the drama and stuff that goes on in other peoples lives and for a whole episode u can almost forget about ur drama and shit thats going on in ur own life :razz:
But other than that i think that its an embarrassment because anyone who hasnt actually LIVED being in the USA will think that thats how everyday life is...sex, drugs, alcohol...and theyre only 17 :?
but i stilll love it and im still addicted...and secretly i would kill to get a day in one there shoes! :lol: (the characters not the actual actors)
