Did anyone get this?

Quote
Last nite, 1/2 bottle of wine in, I tweetd PRACTICAL MAGIC IS MY LIFE FORCE. But it went to draft folder. I felt relievd...oh wait...sheeeit

I'm wondering if there's any way we could start a little "tweet" campaign to encourage R&T to make the Bride vid happen...  It just doesn't make sense how they prepped for the music vid for about 2 months, then just called it off. That was a sure waste of time.

63
The website hasn't been updated either. Why go through all the trouble to promote a vid that wouldn't be released? Too many questions.. are you hearin us, V?

64
No Bride at all?.. I wonder if Marc had even filmed it. Slightly stumped. Bride would've made a more interesting music vid; it's a more interesting concept.

It just occurred to me that this thread should probably be under the polls category. Just putting that out there.

If anyone has been looking for the FULL, AV/SYNCED vid of V performing SSB, I uploaded it from my archives:

Enjoy! This has to be one of the best covers.

I just watched this week's episode of Pretty Little Liars, and Katie was played! If you watch, look out for "Make a Noise".

There could be a little psychological mind play here, too. Maybe I should've listed V in the middle somewhere. Oh well! It is the nessaholics forum afterall.  ;)

Yeah, this may be a toughie for some. Sorry if anyone's favorite isn't listed here; I decided to run a choppy one to minimize any indecisiveness (if encountered).

I haven't checked, but hope this isn't a duplicate poll.

We also have to remember that Nessa isn't on a huge label, and even if she was, labels don't do monster promotions for artists like Nessa. If you're Beyonce, Britney, GaGa, then yes, but we're lucky we get a video for Bride at all. If radio stations don't pick up Bride, what good's a music video?

Exactly. It's coming soon, so we can keep ourselves busy with other artists etc in the meantime. She's coming (before winter ends, so it seems).

Her voice, the beats, and the strings!! have me hooked. Initially, I couldn't understand the "self-ganster styled Nancy Sinatra" description on her Wiki page, but now I hear it.

Here are my favs so far:

- Born To Die (look up an instrumental/karaoke version, and you'll love it more)
- National Anthem
- Dark Paradise
- Radio
- Summertime Sadness
- Without You

But really, the record is fabulous. I can see a lot of the songs on TV shows and in movie soundtracks.

Wouldn't she be promoting once it's released? At least her website has been updated for the time being.

Too bad your anniversary wasn't during the summer in July; that was the month of her venue (7/7 I believe). I definitely went, and as I presume for every other show, it was absolutely wonderful. PLEASE COME BACK TO SF SOMETIME SOON, V. WE MISS YA.

I'd say there are quite a few hills around the general downtown area, and spread around the city. But if you want specific ones: here you go: http://gosanfrancisco.about.com/od/thingstoseeanddo/tp/hillsofsf.htm

If you visit Cliff House, there's a windy hill/road around that area. Hmm.. Chinatown can be hilly, too. But trust me; there's usually a way around the hills, so if you encounter a steep one, you can catch a bus or walk a few blocks left/right to get around it. Walking in SF is definitely a great workout (I sweat bullets after walking through half of my neighborhood).

Tennis shoes are a MUST. Make sure that you've already broken into the pair you plan to bring, too. Best chance of avoiding blisters!

Golden Boy pizza in North Beach is AMAZING. I live in the Sunset and it definitely has its lovely spots. My favorite place is this spot in the Lower Haight. Cafe Du Soleil…amazing coffee and lovely company.

We are Nessaholics within very close proximity. I'm a fellow sunset resident. Outer sunset, that is. I'm not in the city right now, but very cool to know!
