^ You know, I really just don't think that Wii is going to be a very good investment for you.  I mean it might look fun now, but with all those wonderfully addicting games... I'm just not sure you'll have the time to stop having fun and actually take a break for showers and food and for posting on these grand 'ol boards, I mean time for the stuff that really matters. I urge you, before it gets to the point where you just can't say 'no more wii for me,' to hand over that beautiful console and the zelda game. Be above the wii man, above. How could any game playing give such a rewarding feeling?

I am waiting for someone here to crack their TV with their Wiimote, lol.

The Wii seems pretty cool, but I don't really play video games enough anymore to invest in a whole new system.
For all you broken hearted lovers lost, go find another one. 'Cause you know time won't wait and you'll be late, white rabbits on the run...

Well, I think the official Nintendo name for it is the "Wii Remote" but everyone calls it a Wiimote, it's faster and cooler :)
Been playing Zelda for 8 hours and I love it so far, it's really THE Zelda everyone's been waiting for.  8)

I've already seen pics of that happen from the IGN message boards.

some people are just pure idiots and swing the controller as hard and fast as they can, and are surprised when it slips out of their hand, breaks the safety strap thingy and smashes the TV... and the Wiimote still works ;)

but just so you guys know, Nintendo already addressed this problem by making thicker safety strap thingys, so they wont snap as easily.
but for real, people need to learn to not overstress themselves while playing...

One basic principle of engineering is that things should be overbuilt to the maximum extent that is practical. It's Nintendo's fault for not making the straps sturdy enough to begin with.

Well it's really no surprise people are getting so out of control... I mean how many of us have sat with a supernintendo controller, jerking it around left and right when we're racing Mario Kart... and it doesn't even DO anything!

Give people a hammer and they'll say it's the company's fault that they hit their fingers with it.
If you use the Wiimote the right way, nothing bad will happen. Period.

Wii Internet channel update today!!
You can download for free the final version of Opera until June. (there's just a small system firmware update to run before that)
Nintendo servers must be busy as hell because my Opera update has been downloading for the past 40 minutes and it usually takes 2 0r 3 min.  :?

Did anyone create a Vanessa Mii?
I tried but I'm not sure it looks a lot like her.  :?
