Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

I had called it that Snape was a really a good guy by the end of book six.  My friends all thought I was crazy, saying "no way- he killed Dumbledore!"  And I figured that he would die before Harry realized that Snape actually was a good character.  I was really pleased with the book.  I even like that Harry didn't actually kill Voldemort using a killing curse.  I think that makes him an even more respectable character.

I finally finished off the book... Snape's char being good....was expected... a bit... the ending was sweet... kinda like the "charmed" ending where you take the character many years into the future... So that no one may tamper with them...

I didnt like the way Voldy died.... It was tooo small and sudden... very very blah...

Tho yeah after seeing who Tonks really was...(after watching the movie and seeing what her character loked like...) ... I did feel bad when I read that she died with her husband...

Oh the ending when Ted was "snogging" Bill and Fleurs daughter was kinda cute too....

I thought about the way that Voldemort died (lol at "Voldy") and decided that maybe what Rowling was trying to get across is that Voldemort died in such a simple way that it proves he wasn't as great, or as significant as he thought himself to be.

FINALLY I finished the book today!!
I'm a bit of a slow reader but keep in mind I only read on my way to work and when I travel and quite rarely at home (made an exception today for HP 7).
All in all, I was glad with the book. It's my favorite now, with the 4th and 6th ones.
I do have a question though (highlight to read):
why is it that Draco is the true owner of the Elder Wand and not Snape??
That got me confused in the end.

I hope too that this encyclopedia will happen sometime in the (near) future.
I wanna learn more about the HP world and it'd also be nice to learn more about this "19 years later period".

I finished the book today. The ending was really great. I loved the feeling it was always gonna happen something, you know, that kind of insecurity and danger, mostly where they camp in many places. But the best was when they got to Hogwarts. McGonagall's part has moved me. She's always been one of my favourite characters.
But I have a question. The last chapter is 19 years after "Voldy"'s -lol- death, and Teddy is supposed to be learning in Hogwarts, but education period ends when you are about 17, so, what the hell is he doing there?

I just wish the ending was longer- like we knew what happened to all the other characters, like George. That would have been fun =]

I think she did that because she maybe has in mind writing another things about Harry Potter in the future.

i cried most at hedwig's death and also when harry went into the forest

i did cry at dobby's death however, i was much more frightened thinking hermonine was dying so my tears were held back waiting for the notice that she was dead --- and then so relieved she was ok

i can't believe fred died - now all that's left is a one-earred george ... and when percy came back i was very tearful - infact i was talking about it the other day and started to cry again about percy

I really liked it,probably my favorite.My only complaint is that I think Harry should of stayed dead,him coming to life was pretty predictable.

i just finshed the book yesterday. it took me 2 days to finish it.
honestly, i don't like the end of the book.
i would have liked harry dies ( and voldemort too of course)
but i'm so sad for lupin & tonks' son.... and themselves, fred, hedwige ( i almost cried).... and lily & snape story didn't really surprise me but i liked it
well i liked the book except the end... ( didn't like this happy end )

i am definately one of thee biggeest harry potter fans of all time.
book seven was amazing,
and i know it sounds weird but like i cryed when people in the story died.
i dont know i guess i just get wrapped up in the book.
but anyways, the books are amazing and i loved book 7.
