i thought the movie was really good. i like the broadway version better, but the movie was still very excellent, and worth every emmy nomination it got.  my favorite part of the entire movie was Masquerade ... it was amazing!

and can we talk about how awesome Minnie Driver was!? who knew she was so freaking talented!? I really think she put on one of the best performances out of the entire cast.

i saw it a few weeks ago and have been listening to the "soundtrack" quite a bit lately.  I really enjoyed Minnie Driver as well... and i love how Emmy Rossum portrayed Christine... I even like her vocals on a few of the songs over Sarah Brightman  8O  Gerry as the Phantom was horrendous and i wanted soo much to like him and Patrick as Raoul continues to grow on me.

I've pretty much googled myself to death on this one... Do anyone know the chords to Think of Me? I'm just looking for the chords, not the sheets/notes... Including the key change. I really appreciate any help on this one

um, there's a song book for phantom you know. you can get it on amazon for 12 dollars. It's written with the vocal, guitar, right and left hand on piano. The songs are in the same key as the songs in the movie. It's great to have if you want to play all your fave's

I just want to share my love of PotO too. I saw it on Broadway over the summer, it was amazing! I didn't see the movie until after that. I love them both. Does anyone know what awards the movie won, if any?

Yes. My friend pointed out to me that she never closes her mouth in the movie, and i'm like "yeah right". So we watched it and we counted that she closes her mouth a total of 3 times. *shrug* haha

But oh well, she sings great.

Me too! I've pretty much been listening to the soundtrack nonstop for a while now... I understand obsessed! I prefer most of the movie versions of the songs over the original versions, but not always.

I did notice that she always has that kind of expression, but I never really paid attention to how often her mouth was open. I noticed that she never speaks at full level, she's always whispering unless she's singing. lol it's like she's afraid the phantom is eavesdropping on her all the time. I still love her though.

Haha. I wonder if she was asked to keep her mouth open....

Another thing. WTF is Raoul's costume at the masquerade? it's some suit with like 3 arms or something. very messed up.

I always thought so...
I love this movie...it's one of my favourite movies of all time...Minnie Driver was delightful...Gerard Butler was fantastic.. and Emmy Rossum's voice was just wonderful........
I still think the original cast was better:nobody beats Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman.(in my opinion)
