i just listened to a few of her songs... she's ok, but i'm not a fan of it
"i'm willing to do anything
to calm the storm in my heart
i've never been the praying kind
but lately i've been down upon my knees
not looking for a miracle
just a reason to believe"

Kevin could send u a song holls, if thats ok with him of course.

Im just sticking up for her because shes Australian, but i think she can sing.
Its not the most powerful voice but its listenable.
Well thats what i think.

She's an artist, you can respect her for the fact she sells records and makes money that way- i don't respect her for her singing. I think really its not her fault at all, like you said, its just all these other people pulling the strings.

but you can still enjoy their studio work.

I was actually talking about her studio work. Nobody sounded good at that live show, the sound was terrible, everybody in the crowd was blowing whistles and airhorns constantly (Why?!). In fact, it was one of the worst days of my life. lol

I'm inclined to agree with Rosie to some extent. I think she's a victim of the music industry machine. IMHO The music doesn't deserve the success it's had for how good it is alone. The success has come from other things that I believe should not contribute to an artist's success. So I guess I don't like her music partly on principle. I also think that, like a lot of pop music, it's overly simplistic, devoid of any feeling or emotion (probably because the actual song writing is completely detached from the artist) and so is very forgettable. But that's only my view and I'm not an authority on these things. If people like her music, who am I to stop them?

I saw her on TV for the first time tonight.
Spike TV had some bikini competition, she lipsynced Naughty Girl.
