WOW is all I have to say
One of the best Vanessa Carlton concerts I have ever seen. I now understand Stevie Nicks a lot more too from seeing her. Vanessa wore brown Stilettos, the fedora from the Nolita video with Irv, jeans, and a long sleeve white shirt. Her voice has become so much better since I last saw her in October.
The set was amazing, 38 minutes long. A NEW SONG!

1. Ordinary Day (Divide and Conquer)
2. Hands On Me (Small melodic change in vocals "all growing old"<3)
3. White Houses (changed one melodic line, she went high on goes the second time she says it)
4. The One ( Give homage to Stephan for being a good lyricist, and calls him slightly dirty, she said she is kinda going through this right now-this means this is on the cd she said all the songs tonight that are new are going to be on my new cd)
5. Heroes and Thieves( Dedicates to Stevie, and adds a little at the end)
6. FOOLS LIKE ME! (about loosing love, made me tear up, clearly about Stephan.)
7. Nolita Fairytale(Piano in the chorus is just cordial) (PS Leave her alone for her voice cracking a little....)
8. Home
9. A Thousand Miles (Before the last tonight she gets her hat that she left on the ground stands up for about 11 seconds and just looks around and then finishes the song.

I went early and got to see her sound check she did Ordinary Day, White Houses, Nolita Fairy tale, House, and The One

She confirmed that she is defiantly over with Stephan, and she seems kinda bitter about it, like he screwed her over..
I love that she publicly premiered 4 songs! (Home, Nolita, Fools Like Me, Heroes and Thieves.) On FLM she really went for it... she totally blew a lot of her voice out... You can tell she really likes this song a lot... it sounds like a mix of Home, and Half a Week for the Winter.

Music from the show soon. I have to take a shot to buffalo to get the recorder i left there

And now you look at me
And see what I've known for so long
It's sad that you can be
So lovely, yet so wrong

wow, sounds amazing! maybe i will spring for the expensive seats in scranton. i am SOOOOOOOO so so so so excited to see her again.

i'm a little teary-eyed over the stephan thing. i hope she's ok. i know it's weird that i care and all, but i honestly do. she's too sweet to be treated like crap.

I have a version, which sadly isnt the full song (Live at the Fiesta Bowl Block Party - Tempe, AZ 12-31-2006), but when she sings
"I come undone at the things he said"
she sings "Said" really high..
then...
after she sings "he my first mistake"
she goes "oh, oh, oh"
and I love it....

I wish I had a full version like that.. I love when she sings things differently <3

this clip is high on "goes" after "when she dances she goes and"
which the other clip i have isnt like.
that's really cool
can't wait to hear more  :D
thanks

edit: come to think of it, i'm not sure if she sang it like that or not, because the clip I have starts after that part of the song :?

More and more I'm wishing I had spent the last of my money to go to this show.  The songs all sound amazing... I really wish I had had the money to go.
