So I was at Summerfest on Tuesday and this artist caught my ear. As I was walking around I heard her playing and she kind of reminded me of Chantal Kreviazuk a little bit (which probably isn't the best comparison, but it is what I initially thought while I was there), so I wandered over and caught the remainder of her set. I didn't see a merch table or anything or I may have grabbed her EP.

She has a couple songs up on MySpace and a bunch of live videos up on her YouTube. Check her out.

I tried to see Julie at Summerfest a few weeks ago, but her show was lightninged out, stupid storms.

She opened for Missy Higgins and Eric Hutchinson tonight, she put on a great half hour set. I actually talked to her for a few minutes after the show which was pretty cool as well. I picked up a copy of some of her live tracks so I will be interested to listen to that.
