School dress codes

I go to a private school and we are restriced to wearing a uniform. It's cute though. The girls look like slutty Catholic schoolgirls and the boys look like hot schoolboys.

This is going to be my senior year and the first year ever that our school has resulted to wearing uniforms!
I am not happy with it. I feel that you should be able to express yourself freely and one of the ways in doing that is to dress independently. I feel as if we're being categorized into one group and I like to be looked at as an individual.

You're a minor so you're not entitled to express anything.  Get over it.

Am I supposed to take that as 'don't complain because adults won't listen to kids' or taken literally as 'your opinion doesn't matter because you're a minor' ?

It doesn't really matter how you take it because the results are the same.

That's not always true. My mom wanted me to get a BMW 328i convertible but I wanted a Mercedes CLK 350 convertible. So I threw a tantrum and I got the car I wanted. So minors do have a say sometimes!!

And honestly, who judges people by a car? That's just sterotypical and wrong.
They could be driving a rusty piece of metal with a motor and I couldn't care less. Its the personality that couts.

But your mother was the one who had to make the decision and the purchase.

Also, if you think this is the kind of community that cares one way or the other about what kind of car you pretend your mommy bought you, you're seriously confused.  You should find a different website to post on.  One that's more pretentious and will actually argue with you about your faux-internet life.
