Yeah, the whole piano destruction thing is just a way for V to say "Look, I'm not JUST the girl who played that song, I'm much more than you know!" and damn right that she can say that lol. ATM was a great song but V has been called that piano chick and she's just trying to shed that image...  

Ok, video, Love the little fairytale things, mushrooms, spiders, moving chessboard pieces, wings on some guy (weird)... so unique!!! And I love the little shots of her face dancing with the red dress, she looks so pretty! And Lord Victor, what's not to love, honestly? lol. I love all the various NY people on set, and the last one where they were all eating ice cream was cute. Oh! The pic of NYC surrounded by all the fog and stuff, awesome. ok I can't type well today. hehe too excited!

No, it has nothing to do with the old record label. It has to do with her one hit wonder status as the "ATM Girl", which I went into in my above post.  

I think it has to do with both the song and the label

I really don't think it's a slight against her old label. I understand why you'd make that connection, but that's only because she was on her old label when she first achieved fame with ATM, and the connection stops there. If it was really a slight against her old label it'd make more sense if it involved a scenario from White Houses/Harmonium.
