Ok, so after going to French class for a year, and not doing anything with it for a whole summer... I forgot things...

so when you say how old you are it has to be like I have not I am right?

je a.... a with the accent of course.... or no? AGH help and when I say I like to speak french thats..

j'aime parler francais. the c with the cedile... is that right???

Yeah, that's right (the cedile thing) to say How old you are, "J'ai quatorze ans..." etc. You HAVE those number of years. Remember the conjugations? J'ai- Tu as- Il/Elle a- On a- Vous avez- Nous avons- Ils/Elles ont. Got it? lol  :)

I was in the exact same predicament....I decided to wait until this last week of vacation to go over my notes and listen to my french audio stuff...

french is a very difficult language. well that's what my teachers say.
i'm french but i have few difficult for writing.
the best to learn a language is to be in the country!
if you have trouble you can ask to french nessaholics LOL!
oh and if i make mistakes please correct me!! ^^

J'ai une nouvelle prof cette année, et je suis trés trist parce-que j'aime beaucoup l'autre prof. Ma nouvelle prof est une <<bitch>> (French translation would be helpful, lol) et la classe la détèste. Je parle français tres bien, mais je ne suis pas bon ecriveur. Je pense en francais.

Sorry, I just didn't feel like adding accents, circumflexes, etc.

This year I'm tutoring some kids taking French.  I only got up to French 2, because they stopped offering anything past French 2 this year, but I got the best grade in my French class.  I hate my school.  They say we'll have French 3 and 4 available NEXT year, and that I should brush up by tutoring some of the other kids.  I'm really excited about it, actually.

Now now kids, trying to learn the bad words, aren't we? ;)
You can use "chienne" as "b*tch" but you'd say "c'est une chienne".
"P*te" means "wh*re" though so it's much stronger.
Can't believe I'm teaching you guys that!  :oops:
