How exactly is Kanye West talented? He raps. He doesn't need a good voice. He needs good lyrics and his lyrics aren't exactly masterpieces anyway.

You probably have listened to Kanye's commercial songs like Gold Digger or something. Just because you don't appreciate rap does not mean that Kanye West isn't talented. I don't agree with him 100% because I honestly think he acts pretty immature at award shows and stuff but I appreciate his music.
His new CD is actually really good, granted there are songs that are really annoying like Drunk and Hot Girls and Barry Bonds. But most of the songs are great like Champion, Good Life, and Homecoming.
