"Spring Street" now on Rite Aid playlists
« on: March 25, 2008, 10:02:39 pm »
Rite Aid, like most chain stores, plays the exact same thing through all their stores across the nation and today while I was shopping I heard the distinct "na na na na na na na" or however many na's haha...And I was so happy to hear it was SPRING STREET. This is a good sign because often labels push songs to store "radios" before actually releasing them. Such is the case with Daughtry's single "Feels Like Tonight." Which started playing in Rite Aid, Walgreens, Walmart, and many other chain stores before about 6 months before it went to radio.

Future single Spring Street? Bet on it.

Vive le difference! Nice to see someone who's "in-store radio" isn't owned
by Sony BMG. Its much more likely in Oz you'll here Delta or a Sony artist

I'm not a fan of Spring Street. But i guess it wouldn't matter since her last 2 singles didn't too well anyway.

how can Spring Street be the next single? They like..really don't want her to succeed or something.
ahah That's like...the least radio friendly and easy-to-listen to song on the record.

You have to listen to it a bunch of times before you start to really appreciate it and let's be honest...Americans aren't the most patient people.

yeah and to be honest, why are they starting to like do stuff with SS? they should have all focus for HOM right about now.

If "Hands On Me", the most radio friendly song on that album, didn't/isn't do(ing) anything, what makes them think "Spring Street" will? :?

Agreed, but HOM's unsuccess is no fault of the song

Its good that the songs playing but think "Fools Like Me" would make a better next single becuase of its catchy-ness (I have bad sp) :D

the first song from the album that got to me was Spring street after HOM and NF that I already knew. I think it's a good song and more catchy and radio friendly than fools like me. Spring street would be a good choice of course if there will be 3rd singiel. More than This, Home, or Come Undon would be a good choic as well
