I shop mostly vintage and second hand stores......a lot of people 'look down' or think its 'dirty' but really you can piece your own ideas together..and it really works great for someone like me who is constantly taking risks and trying new things with their fashion. Even though most of my clothes are from random vintiques and what not, I still don't look down on department stores. Actually sometimes you just need that 'simple' thing to complete a look that you are going for. I'm glad Vanessa is apart of this, and yes even though these items are just simply inspired by Vanessa...atleast they are all things that are similar to what Vanessa would wear anyway. I think it's a good thing for her to be doing this...too many young sluts in training nowadays in their Juicy Couture.

How can that even be called Couture? Couture meaning highly fashionable....... It says Juicy on the ass for gods sake.

Went to my local Kohl's and checked out the Vanessa Carlton Display. The jewelry was practically picked clean:-) I found the necklace I wanted though 30% off.

OK! I want to make this clear I never siad I liked Juicy that much. I just dont understand this kids view on whats "fashion". Yes some of their stuff is cute. So what do you think fahion is iluvvanessa? (dont take this offensively this is just a question)

The exact definition of fashion is:
" a prevailing custom or style of dress, etiquette, socializing, etc"

But its so much more in my opinion, its one of the most obvious diversities of the world, while today we are losing a lot of the cultural designs from countries because they are exchanging their ideas for more western influenced clothing. I believe that fashion is a way of expression, it shows [or should show] something about yourself. Its about presentation, feeling special, and giving you confidence. It's not all about the label or designer, if you see something YOU like and YOU feel confident or comfortable in, you should wear it. Fashion is a hit or miss thing, some people will love what you wear, others not so much. [/u]

im not that into fashion...if i like it i buy it...and if ppl dont like wat they see they dont have to look at me... :lol: LOL
i culd care less if i go out in my sweat pants and sweat shirt every day....i dont care what ppl think of me most of the time..
eh...its always cool to look nice and to feel pretty...but as far as im concerned...if i feel pretty and nice...then everyone else sees me like that...since the feeling radiates...
