Hopefully we can get some sort of explanation...or apology?  It's not like the album isn't done because it is!  So I don't understand what the hold up is.  Those of you in the business...what would hold up a record release at this point?

My guess is promo and/or distribution is still being figured out at this time and/or they're having trouble with that. Or pressing discs is taking longer than they thought it would. There's gotta be some rational explaination behind this.

hope so.  and I hope we get one

In 4 easy steps:

And it's really risky to push back the release date while there are some full albums in the nature.

Let, I think album means everything. So any version (digital/cd/vinyl) will be available 7.26. Booo.

I'm ready to kill to get my hands on this vinyl release haha!  ;D

Yeah, if you finish reading my post I said that Amazon says 7.26. I was just hoping it was vinyl but when I saw the link, yeah...

AH! My vacation is ruined...

I wonder if the vinyl will only be pressed in 250 copies, or it will be 250 signed ones? What do you guys think.

idk, they said it was pretty exclusive, so at least, for now it will be 250 signed copies in total. That's what i think

ps: oh and, i hope that the "signed" is really signed, i mean. i hate when they say that and its just the signature printed on...not directly made by hand...u know.

I'm not going to presume anything anymore.  It's kind of like someone you really counted on disappointed you and you are disillusioned.  I know that sounds totally ridiculous. I will work it out.

D'oh, I saw the tweet confirming the push back. I wonder if there was any sarcasm in it.  I'm disappointed that we're going to have to wait an additional month and that we won't have the CD before the tour.

I feel like this kind of delay has happened to either Heroes & Thieves or Harmonium or both? Who remembers?

I am also curious as to why the delay is occurring. I'm not aware of any major artists releasing against her that would hurt her sales.   Is Michelle Branch's next album coming out around the same time to eliminate the dreaded past confusion between these 2 artists?

I think it is now more likely than ever that this album will be leaked in advanced of the release date.

Let the impatience continue..

Not 'Heroes & Thieves' - that was released when it was supposed to be.

'Harmonium' got pushed back, but I don't think it was as late as this?

I'm so irritated that I sent so much time on twitter tweeting people the release date, and now it's changed. This is SO DUMB to do 3 weeks before it was supposed to come out. And honestly, it's not like the month more they're giving it will help the numbers much more. If they're pushing it back to promote it more, why don't they just do that promotion after the album is out. GAH. The only thing that could assuage my anger at this point would be for them to release an EP of the songs that are playing at Starbucks in June, but I doubt that will happen.
