Thanks! This is awesome guys! was looking forward to seeing it ever since that lady tweeted that it was being filmed!
I found this old vid from the H&T era that i'd never seen before! Maybe someone could put it on youtube? I love making playlists of all her interviews and promo haha

Because I paid for the song and now a month later it's being given away free...

Like I said, it's not a big deal and I was half-serious. But still...It's a little unfair when people paid for it already.

It's not Nessa's fault. It's her marketing team. Her management are the ones that put up the single for sale. And maybe the free giveaway was her idea. Either way, this is how the business runs in the world. It's a pretty smart strategy. I don't think V did this on purpose to rip anyone off. To me, this shows she cares a lot about her music and she cares for fans and wants to offer Carousel for the rest of the world at a free cost to hear.

I didn't mean for it to sound like I was blaming Vanessa. What I meant to say was "remind me never to buy a Vanessa Carlton single again".

I'm not mad or pressed about it. It's 79p (as Weisz pointed out). I just think it's kinda bad when people pay for your product and then you give it away free four weeks later anyway.

Maybe it didn't sell as well as they had hoped so from a marketing perspective they decided to offer it for free to try to get more downloads and therefore more publicity for V?
