Check her out on her myspace page: http://www.myspace.com/merryellen

I like her song "Blinding me"  There is a story about that song in her blog and how she came up with it.

Tylor you've done it again! Merry Ellen is the genuine article  ;D Lets hope her musical journey continues in the same
vein and despite comparisons to Spektor, McLachlan, Amos and Jewel, she finds her own identity with such a unique
voice  :-* I'll go out on a limb and say MEK is possibly the biggest breath of fresh air to the industry since Kate Bush!!
(provided Merry Ellen can find the same kind of chemistry with a producer as Kate Bush found with Andrew Powell)  :P

Peace

Aaron

She wrote another "Story behind the song" for the song, "Song of the open road" on her blog.

Yeah, I really enjoy SOTOR as well; its one of the other tracks that really stands out from the 10 available on youtube
including the Peter Gabriel cover (which I find awesome also; its true to the original but very much Merry Ellen as well)

Peace

Hey guys, I don't go to many music or artist forums.  This is pretty much the only one.  So if you even only slightly like her can you post links to her myspace in other sections just like this on the forums around the net so she gets a little exposure?

It's funny, she posted on twitter about being #4 on the alternative charts in nashville near where she lives on reverbnation.

I didn't even know she had a producer until a few days ago.  I didn't read her whole page apparently or didn't notice.

Wow I'm in a minute in one of her songs and I have to say she sounds really good :D Thanks for telling us about her :) It's nice to find new artists to listen to.

*Had a crappy CD collection and wants more CDs XD*

She's giving out a free download for signing up with her newsletter.  Also she's giving a chance to win a free signed CD by tweeting or doing something on facebook. Details: http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendId=59347010&blogId=514939561
