Where's Vanessa?

Hey, guys. I haven't heard from Vanessa since her Disney's "Eat to the Beat" performance. She doesn't tweet anymore (that's just too bad) and I have no news from her for a long time. Does someone knows what she's up to? When will she perform again? Anything? She seemed to have vanished into thin air!

Oh, and by the way, happy new year to all the nessaholics in this forum! You rock!

I think, well actually I hope, she's just in a creative zone, it always seems that the closer to an album release she gets quiet and disappears. Also I believe she struggles with depression and maybe the whole disney thing shook her up a bit?

She just got done spending Christmas + New Year with family and friends. I believe she's still working on the album which should be out soon.

She's mentioned in the past that she struggles with it. I believe there is an interview on youtube where she mentions it.

I just said this to my sister! Every time, just before the release of the first single V disappears entirely, and then the next we hear, NEW ALBUM!!!

I just hope London is in the album and that the new songs follow the style of the most recent ones she presented to us.

i'm just hoping that she'll go on tour again for the spring/summer after this amazingly brilliant album comes out and i'll get to experience the magic live once again!

Just think guys, it was just the holidays, and most everyone is getting back to work now.  If Vanessa is self-producing, it's more pressure than having a producer around to crack the whip and make decisions and conduct sessions in her absence.
Couple that with her ADD and you see how this could take a while.

As a Vanessa fan, I've accepted that she doesn't particularly reach out to fans.  She's said on many occasions that she loves and appreciates us, but sometimes it's honestly hard to buy; many of us would do our part to help IF ONLY WE WERE ALLOWED, but I've given up on that, too.  I've concluded that, even though IMO it has hurt her she is comfortable keeping this distance.  That's OK.  That's her right.
There are wacko people out there and I get it.  I'm happy to be a fan going on 8 years now, but bottom line, in the VC world, when it comes, it comes.

Ok, I've officially accepted that she lacks updating skills, etc.  I can now move on and continue waiting for the music. I've also liked V for going on 8 years(WOW! TIME FLIES) and as much as I throw out constructive criticism, it's only because I know shes capable of keeping her existing fanbase more updates, hellos, etc.  But I will accept it..... I should have along time ago!!  Ahh, feels better.

You are SO right! It's really quite a big deal she's doing her own producing, and she's right on time.
Personally if I was V I would probably stay away from fans too. People get crazy.  I think it's ok that we are a little in the dark and after 8 years we all should be used to it.
I too have been a V fan for somewhere around 8 years, and have never once seen her live, this is my year, that's the biggest reason I want this album DONE!
