I'm glad she didn't say NYC. Tennessee rolls off the tongue better.

I agree, but I thought the significance of the city for her (as far as we know) would make it the better choice

I adore the lyrics "you could be the end of me".
Vanessa captures how loving someone exposes you to just how much they have the possibility to destroy you.
That sounds so depressing, but I think it's beautiful... knowing how much someone can impact you because of the love you share, and because of how much they mean to you.
Hope that makes sense?

^ that's one of my favorite parts from the first verse. :)

I like how the song emotionally progresses from a dark tone to happy tone. She sounds dark in the beginning, then gets lighter in the 2nd verse, and the song ends in an epic optimistic choir.

I feel that V is transforming into someone like Stevie, you know. Dear California, Get Good - she's just evolving into a better musician in every single record.

Floating on the sea, stars are watching me. Currents take me out, what will be will be.

And we could catch a train to another life
On a whim under the moonlight
I promise you, will you promise me?

Love these lyrics from the song, so set about finding a suitable source image to start with & found an amazing snap (only 72dpi though)! See URL

So including V's new emblem from the ROTR artwork, and the lyrics I mentioned above, here's the first completed banner (a work in progress) ;)

Has anyone noticed that there are mistakes recorded in the bridge?  ??? Everytime I listen to this song with my Ipod I heard 'wrote' and 'you and me' before she starts signing the part? Or its just a figment of my imagination  :-\

I'm really enjoying the Album version of IDWTBAB. Excellent arrangement of the Capital Children's Choir gives the song a very ethereal quality  ;)
