Beautiful video! A bit different from what I expected, but I really really loved it! It gets better at the bridge part, which is my favourite part of the song and video.

Did you guys see that when she sings the last line there's a branch in the form of a "V" right in front of her? I'm not sure if it was intentional though.

I love how the forums come alive whenever anything new comes out from V!! ;D

Absolutely amazing video - I missed the piano a bit too, but I really enjoyed the video clip!! Totally fits the mood of the song!!! <3 I really hope we get another video from V, I love her video clips..they're always so awesome. She looks so gorgeous throughout the whole thing - I loved the white dress!! She's really reminding me of Stevie Nicks haha - no surprise there, given the amount of time they spend together :)

Thanks so much for the download link!! I've watched it a few times through Perez's site, but can't seem to get any of the YT links working..thank you!! Have to buy it when it comes out on iTunes :D

Talk about a super Monday!!! ;D

I think we need to spam Perez to twitte the video or write to review about it.

You know...

For promo purposes  ;D

Music videos are born in a lot of different ways. This one for Vanessa Carlton was about as organic as they come. My manager Chris Black ran into an old friend of his, Tracey Moulton, who's Vanessa's stylist on a flight. They both thought we should connect. Vanessa happens to live down the street from me, so we met up and she played me the new album. I instantly thought we have to go to my hometown of Woodstock and shoot a progression of my Test Shots series, which she loves. Each frame of the video would feel like a vintage fashion editorial photograph. Really I just wanted to get out of the city for the weekend with my friends and make something beautiful.
Navajo blankets, Ralph Lauren Collection gowns, chambray (with no pants), nature, bonfires... Just a few of my favorite things. We stayed at a cabin on the top of a secluded mountain and brought our two teams together. I had a ton of fun making the video. I hope you guys like it. Special thanks to Mr. Black, Kerri Kleiner, Tracey Moulton, Kellen Dengler, Ashlea Hartz, Alex Christenson, Kurt Nishimura, the rest of our teams, and the incredibly talented Vanessa Carlton. Enjoy...

Beautiful video, but I think don't think it connected with the lyrics too much. Not that her other videos have either. xD

I beg to differ.. wrote about it a few pages back (page 9?)  Also under the Carousel lyrics page and the new topic "who is the owl" or something along that line, check it out!

I did. but this is what I just saw he wrote under the video. I really don't like this guy.

Vanessa Carton has recently premiered the music video for "Carousel", the lead single from her upcoming studio album "Rabbits on the Run" to be released on June 21st via Razor & Tie Records - Pretty song, pretty video! I'm afraid though this is gonna flop hArd. She's gotta give us another 'A Thousand Miles" or "White Houses". You know, cute/mellow, piano-driven tunes, with a commercial edge.

It's his opinion and I can respect it, I wouldn't mind it myself (Not that this new stuff isn't the best music i've heard). His website reeks of pop culture so I can see why he thinks it

I wish people would get over "A Thousand Miles". Seriously. It's what - 9 years old? Move on. Vanessa has.

I like her new style a lot more. It's more adult and suits her better.
