I'm in love with the photo.

And of course... From the way they just enumerated this song before, it was meant to be a single.

And can I just say that there are LOADS of SPAMMERS lately. Just sayin'.

as far as I'm concerned, it's still fair game for I Don't Want to Be a Bride too.

I wouldn't be surprised if the label put that up too... just to see what gets better reactions..

eh, who knows. I guess I don't care either way, but I WOULD like to see IDWTBAB be single #2.

Well, it needs to be a single. It's destined to be one.

Besides, it's one of the most talked-about songs based on the interviews and reviews. Just notice how almost each of the interviews posted online involves at least one question about Bride.

Maybe they're saving the best for the last?

i love IDWBAB but in my opinion I would love to hear Dear California on the radio as the next single :)

i think "dear california" is more immediately accessible - it's more one-listen catchy than "i don't want to be a bride" is. it's also more in sync with the summer season. it's a nice contrast, too, to heavily produced pop with smart-ass lyrics and should stir some sentimentality up.

if this is the next single, it's the right move.

and then "i don't want to be a bride" when there's some interest in vanessa carlton as an artist again.

Firstly, they need to put that video up again. What was it a video of btw?

And secondly, I think it would be an amazing song to release with the release of the album. Just to you know... get people's attention to the album and the song.
You have to admit, the song is kinda "commercial" sounding. Though it is actually such a lovely song lyrically. If you look beyond its superficiality, I find the lyrics pretty meaningful.

I find the lyrics a "bit" relatable.

Sounds good to me, after Livestream DC is definitely one of my favourites of what I've heard of the live recordings.  Did anyone download the video or print screen, I really want to see the new picture.
