This is the first time I've heard HOM with violin and guitar at the same time. It is the best live performance of it so far, I can say.

And does anyone notice how her vocals are so much better in this song? She sounded way too good. I also noticed that she certainly has more control now over her voice. And if you'd listen very carefully, there are some vibrato going on there.

Yeah, I noticed a change in her vocals about a year and a half ago.

I think Steve Osbourne brought the best out in her, to be honest. She never would have tried to experiment with her vocals if Stephen was in on the project (no offense to him because I think he did a great job with 'Harmonium').

I agree. I think that her hunt for Steve was worthy of doing. Besides, I think that Osbourne is indeed a better producer that Jenkins (no offense). I mean, with all of his experience of producing a very wide range of music, Steve surely did pick up some handy things when it comes to singing.

And the WH video was very great too. No shouting, as someone pointed out. I think the ballerina in the White Houses has finally became the full woman she ought to be.

yeah she didn't talk too much but a few jokes here and there, she said she was nervous actually. i was surprised at that, considering it was such a small venue.

That's sweet.

I'm glad you had a good time. Hopefully, IF she comes to London I can get down there & have a great Vanessa experience too.

Maybe because she was in NYC where people can by harsh.  And the people are more of..her neighbors and peers.  who knows!

Come to think of it now, I think that Who's To Say would have been a great single back to Harmonium Days. It just has the charisma.

And thought there's no "who we are, who we are, who we are, we are, we are" after the bridge, I still find this as one of the best performance of this song. We're very lucky indeed to had someone to record her show there. She really brought her game in there.

And so, that's the debut of Skye in xylophone in Dear California. It was a nice touch to the song, too.  :D
