2011 Fall tour with Matt Nathanson
« on: August 15, 2011, 01:18:43 pm »
Hello!!
I'm taking the Rabbits on the ROAD. Thanks to Matt Nathanson for having us join his caravan.
Bringing this album to life on stage is a daunting and awesome task. I'm excited. One thing for sure...
this feels fresh. See you there.

That tour is real west coast heavy, isn't it?

Geez, I work within walking distance from Terminal 5.

No brainer!

Only US-dates:( I'm still not giving up hope that she will come to England or somewhere in Europe.

I'm thinking the two PA ones and Buffalo for me.. possibly the Toronto.  who is the other guy ? is he good?
maybe by "bringing the album to life" and "fresh" mean that she will have a choir or drums or something new in general compared to the summer tour.  I wish she had announced some of these earlier though, it's not easy for people to get time off work when we are scheduled months ahead of time!

Seriously. I initially thought he was the supporting act. Matt Nathanson should open for Vanessa, not the other way around.

Oh well. At least we have tour dates. Beggars can't be choosers. :P

We should make a list of people who can possibly attend these shows. I would go for a "maybe" for now, just because we don't know when she's gonna tour again. But I'm on the fence.

If I do come, I may not stay for this Matt dude! lol (not to sound rude but I don't care about his music :P)

He's actually not that bad. I listen to his stuff occasionally. His music is very similar to Joshua Radin's...

This is one of my favorite songs by him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjG7_wt7dIc

I've tweeted R&T about this, asking if maybe she was gonna headline later in the year. I don't wanna use up all my days off left only to find out she's gonna tour on her own later.

It's odd she's not headlining, I wonder why she's only supporting.

In a few interveiws she said something about using local children choirs. Which would probably mean she would headline. Which would mean more tour dates....lol I'm just saying what could happen if she does what she said she might do.

IF she was headlining I would consider to travel to US. But traveling 4000 miles to see her as an opening act. Nah.
