oh yay!! totally there. was there a few years ago when she played FNO at ann taylor.
how did that go? was the crowd respectful? I'm just curious because on the facebook phantom friends, someone can go but is hesitating because of not being able to truly enjoy. how many songs did she plan then?
the folder with recordings from back then is here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?zn50ui9siv37fi did record the whole show, but i no longer have that file, unfortunately (someone on here still might). i believe the set was just the songs in the folder above + "a thousand miles". but it's definitely a short set with a loud crowd. the 2010 show was under 30 minutes. if i remember perfectly it was 22 minutes.
honestly though, i enjoyed myself. because it's not a music venue - it's a clothing store - they simply set up a piano in the middle of this store, and i was able to mill around way early and see her come in (haha lord victor was fascinated by my shoes and was sniffing around them... got to pat him, such an adorable adorable creature) and listen to the soundcheck. because it's FNO, it's expected cameras will be rolling, and i didn't feel weird about recording. also, it was the first time she played the softer "fair weather friends."
but yes, it is a noisy crowd.
