i choose Clay! i've loved him from the beginning of the show! i think he has an amazing voice!! everytime he sings it just draws me in! lol

and also he just seems like a really sweet guy who cares about people. and i think that is something you need to be a great celebrity!

Rubens personality??  what personality?  he showed no emotion when he sang.. every song sounded the same.. and when he was finished.. he either stood there like a deer in the headlights or he looked like he was about to kill somebody.  Then when asked questions he mumbled at best something completely incoherant into the microphone... Oh yeah.. so proud he was chosen as the "Idol."  or was he?

Turns out that the company that handles misrouted calls handled about 172, 000 for clay and only 32,000 for rueben.. those numbers would have but clay so far past rueben he couln't have even mumbled his way out of it.  So hmmm... kick a few calls out and put the guy you want in.. wouldn't put it past them...  cheers to Simon for recognizing who the real Idol is and giving Clay a well deserved contract too...

i have to agree with simon....clay is a very good and talented singer...but his voice is more of a broadway voice. i just can't see him singing pop songs. rueben all the way!
