If that's the only typo you found, you don't have a very good eye.  The editor cut some stuff out because it ran a little too long and during his cutting and pasting process, the grammar got kinda messed up in a couple places.  Mostly in the second Avril paragraph.  :oops:

Some may suggest Branch is just whining in the wind, but perhaps making her struggle public will have an effect on the next crop of young female singer/songwriters.

I'm not necessarily trying to "bash" Avril; I'm just telling it like it is.  I don't even mind Avril's music, but she does represent pretty much everything I despise about the music industry.  She's been blatantly used her entire career (and it's still going on now) and she thinks she's made every decision all by herself.  In a way, I kind of feel sorry for her because she has absolutely no clue what's being done to her.  Then again, ignorance is bliss.  

I feel more sorry for Michelle because she's much more intelligent and realizes exactly how she's being treated and it appears to have caused her quite a bit of distress and frustration.
