I am downloading the album version of AYHN from the AOL preview session... even though the bastages water-marked it, I am lovin' it :). It is a little bit more poppy than I expected but I am feeling it.

I have an mp3 of the AOL first listen, should I put it up somewhere on my downloads site?

I really like it, it rocks, it's universal -- but... I hate the way that it's mixed. It's really hard to hear her vocals clearly in some places, especially the bridge. I guess it's the critical engineer part of me that listens to things and hears the little problems, etc. It's a great song, though.

Cannot wait for Chicago!! :)

Yeah I was suprised at the mixing at first too, but the more I listen, it reminds me of AYW, and I loved AYW so, you can draw your own conclusion here ;)

Just hearing some of the new material makes me that much more geeked for the Chicago show  :D

I'm curious if that's the version they're sending to radio (most likely)... cause it really is very muddy in the bridge... weird.

But I still love it. I'm wondering if it will be a huge hit like "Everywhere" was or more low-key... I think the lyrical hook ("are you happy now?") is a very universal thing and something most people can probably relate to (I know several people that come to mind when I hear this song ;) )... but it just doesn't seem AS radio friendly as "Everywhere" and "AYW".  Who know. I guess we'll find out soon :)

And the Chicago show is going to rock.  I'll have to PM you guys my cell # and maybe we can meet up!

Well, I can imagine all of the teenyboppers jumping up and down and singing to the chorus def. ... I do think the song will have a good pop appeal if it gets off the ground in the major markets. I am sure it will get plays on the Hot AC stations too. Plus generally the song topic is something a lot of people relate to, so it will gain some play and popularity from that too.

and definately hit us up with the #, we will probably be around Chicago most of the day since it is only an hour or hour and a half drive to Chicago from my house  :)

Also not a teeny. Although I am very short and constantly get carded at the local gas station when I buy my husband cigarrettes. So I guess according to some people I am a teeny ;)

I've never been carded in my entire life.  We went on a day cruise once and the guys on the boat kept offering me drinks...I was all o_O  I'M 16!  Now I just smile and nod and take the drink.  LMAO  3 years is a world of difference. ;)
