I mean this in all seriousness, it's not an insult.  I can't really understand a word of what you're saying because your English--well, it leaves something to be desired.  I realize that you're probably using your "relaxed, message board" English where punctuation is of no importance, but I can't really respond when I don't understand a word of what you're saying.

Actually, im, from, America, .

ROFL.

Pete..... "your" is possesive, "YOU'RE" is the contraction.

I think he meant it to have a comma after English and not --

Which is kinda funny, cuse the '--' indicates hes using "messageboard english"

I am saying this and leaving these two threads...

Yea some people think that you should have sex with the person you marry ONLY. I think that is stupid....

I'm not as much a christian now as I was when my parents tried to mold my mind and make me believe wha they believed, I think that being gay and or lesbian is wrong(although I do enjoy lesbians) it contradicts life.

I think that if you have sex with someone it should be someone you love...

I think waiting till marrage is nice for your husband/wife but a large percentage of people do not wait.

The debates of sex could go on and on, I could type for years I really don't want to do that.

I read about people getting into arguements about this thread, for the most part of wha I read I think this thread is alright.

As Pete said he wouldn't want his kid looking at this...Well I would have to agree with that...

My sister is almost 12 years old and the thought of her going on the internet and looking at something like this would not make me to happy.

I want to protect my sister like a big brother would. I cannot control if she has sex before marrige or not. I wouldn't like her to look at things like this though.

I do agree with Pete in the fact that this thread should be locked or deleted, because some of this stuff is too much, due to the fact that younger people really do come on here and read this.

And you said that people could ignore this but I found it good at first, and then it went a little crazy...

Don't anyone be offended by wha I said, I am on both sides...

Daniel

ahh yes, but how quickly we forgot what Andrew already pointed out.

people pay for the domain, pay for the server, the bandwidth, the database space usage... these things are not free unfortunately.

the worthless chat threads that go no where take up database space and CPU cycles that *I* have to worry about.  Does it really matter all taht much? no, not really in the grand scheme of thigns.  Does this board function better than the VCMB did?  yea, it's up mroe... it works better... it doesn't give a shitload of errors.

the people that pay and dedicate their time to creating something, made rules.  One of the rules was, we don't wish to see chat threads.  When someone creates one, it get's locked.  If another one is created, it's locked too.  It makes one wonder, exactly how many threads have to get locked before someone get's the picture?  Yes, you have to create more because the others are locked!

Does everyone want to start paying per month to have something?  If you do, then we can all have somewhat of a say.  Chat threads annoy me, i made the rules (and they were agreed upon by all Mods)... if you have a problem with that, then you can either disobey the rules, or leave.

I hate to say leave because really, i would like for people to say, but i refuse to try to please all 100% of the population any longer.  If *I* am paying to have this domain up, and spending countless hours of my personal time maintaining the server, web space, database, backing thigns up, doing upgrades and *I* get annoyed by seeing chat threads?  well guess what, no more chat threads!

sorry, that is the truth.  take it or leave it.

I would pay, i would help maintain, but its yours, have your way, im gone, bye

Like i said, i made more topics because others were locked and im not going to hunt for the unlocked ones because they would probably get locked eventually too...whats the point if they fall off the page when we leave anyways, This is the OT section, and really none of the threads here should be that signifigant....in fact i could go and find every single one that isnt significant and i bet it would represent at least 50%...so why 2% of threads get locked, because some people are liked more than others...i may like people differently or even dislike some people, but im not here to prove that, and i certainly wouldnt buy a domain and dedicate it to a singer and try to make it an official fanclub if certain fans were going to be treated depending on how much the owners like them

Pete, here is what was nice before.  WE could have several threads that would stay on the first page for WEEKS.  We didn't have to hunt them down.  And frankly, there is no reason for it NOT to be like that.

Off topic does not mean insignificant.  It means off topic.

Don't do things the rules say you shouldn't do.  Follow the letter and not the spirit, and all will be well.

Hell Pete, im an asshole, but ive NEVER had a thread locked! NEVER!
---Andrew

i forgot about this, quickly i must state that i have had ONE thread locked and in direct coordination with Katia because i was just trying to have fun with her, which is basically what i think life is all about, people having fun...so my one thread to your none isnt really a big deal to me, and im not an asshole but i think off topic means ANYTHING not on topic with Vanessa, meaning if the thread is about "me", then its off topic, anyways its all rather silly if you ask me....gotta go, peace everyone

"Son, we live in a message board that has rules.  And those rules have to be ruled with mods with lock buttons.  Who's going to do it?  You?!  You Logical X?  They have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom.  You weep for the old board, and you curse the new board.  You have that luxury.  You have the luxury of not knowing what they know.  That the o-board's death, while tragic, probably saved time.  And the new boards existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you saved time.  You don't want the truth because deep down inside in places you don't talk about at the old board, you want the new board, you NEED the new board.  We use words like "rules, chat threads, and locked".  We use these words as the backbone of six months creating something.  You use them as a punchline.  I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man that rises and types on the very message board they provide, but questions the manner in which they provide it.  I would rather you had just said "Thank you", and went on your way.  Otherwise I suggest you go to the old board and become a mod.  Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to."
