Yeah they can get annoying in vast number. We'd appreciate it if everybody could do their sig requests/offers in the sticky sig thread at the top of the forum.

However, I'm leaving this open because that thread is new and there is nothing in the rules about it. It's just that sig threads tend to take over the forum and it annoys quite a few people (as you can see from the replies).

In short: There's nothing wrong with sigs, but it would be cool if people would use the sticky to keep the forum from sig syndrome.

Hehe you guys rock.

But this is my feeling on the matter (I'm not speaking for the mods, just myself): I don't really want to get heavy on it. Mainly because this is the OT section and we already have a lot of rules. I don't like sig threads either, but Scott and DJ are good guys and I don't think they'd have any problems using the sig sticky now that they know about it.

Lets just try politely informing people about it. Then, soon enough, everyone will know about it and (hopefully) use it because lots of us don't like the sig threads. If they continue in mass, then maybe we can make it official. But for now lets try and keep it light (and polite).

What do you reckon?
