MxPx rocks. They're my second favorite band, after Less Than Jake. I saw them for the first time with NFG and GC, and it really ticked me off that none of the punk rock princesses (lol, don't ask for the story) knew who they were. In the words of my sister "I don't care what anyone else thinks, MxPx is the best punk band out there."

I do have The Renaissance EP. My brother "stole" it from his college radio station and gave it to me in...I think that was 8th grade. They did a show at his school and since he worked at the radio station, he got to hang out with them, but at the time he didn't know that me and my sister love them...in fact...he had no idea who they were. He called and said "Have you heard of this band called MxPx?"
"We are made to bleed
And scab and heal and bleed again
And turn every scar into a joke
We are made to fight
And f**k and talk and fight again
And sit around
And laugh until we choke"

i'm not personnally a big fan of hot topic, but they do have some cool t-shirts. such as their "I heart Jake Ryan Tshirt" (Sixteen Candles). The workers there that I have encountered so far seem to be a bit biased...i dont' dress in the gothic style so i usually get shunned when i go. i even got threatened no service once for no reason.....aren't they owned by the gap? i heard that somewhere but i'm not sure if it's true....

anyways, yes, MXPX does rock. whoop whoop! anyone know when they're touring?

you're lucky. the ones that work at my local mall are really snooty. If you don't have some form of spikes on you they won't even look at you. Not all hot topics are bad, just the one at my mall.
