Putting "La" in front of a female artist's name
I think people do that to show their appreciation for someone, or their admiration, whatever you want

It could be that Rosie means ...
"the" spears ... since la means the in French ...
so Britney is "the" spears because she's "killing" the music industry ...
It could be La Spears ... as in is LA (or EL-AYE) Spears as in Los Angeles ... wher Britney epitomizes all that fake glitzy glamour ... synonymous with Los Angeles ...
It could be a whole bunch of things there Si :-) LOL :lol:

But it is strange how HD used VC and MB as examples or ppl she admires, which is fair enough being they are talented singer songwriters, and then she's got Britney ... but I guess britney was the most influencial teen last year ... or was it the yeaer before ...
well she was anyway :-)
