Shades posted these on the other boards and i didn't think they had been posted here. The outfit she's wearing just doesn't seem to be very Vanessa. Does anyone else know what i mean? I don't think she'd voluntarily want to show that much chest!! Agree, disagree? Can't stop drooling at the teeeny pics? lol

That has loads of pics, of course, but they are teeny. It looks like she went to pretty much every day of fashion week! lmao. She has to have got a new stylist, she is looking so amazing! (except in those pics, hee hee)

She should be able to wear whatever the hell she wants without anybody shaking their finger at her saying tsk tsk.

Well I think the main reason, is because she talks alot about being 'covered.' Like on the dateline interview she said something about a shirt with small straps, "That's as close to naked as I'm gonna get."

Maybe she is feeling more freedom.. and goood for her.

I doubt that anybody put her up to wearing that outfit.

What I'm trying to say is.. we shouldn't form this idea of what Vanessa Carlton is.. and what she is not.

Her style is bound to evolve.. and if she wants to reveal a little more.. thennn I say gooo Vanessa.

I think it's fine. Regardless if it's very Vanessa-ish. I can go out one day, wearing bell bottoms, sandals, and 60s-70s-esque hippies' shirt, and then wearing baggy sweatpans and a "Brooklyn" hoodie the next day and not thinking anything of it.

If I can got through that much of a style-chang, she should be able to as well.

i don't think anyone is upset she wore that, or thinks any differently of her. It is just the first time she has had pictures taken in something that exposing (not that being exposed is necessarily bad) therefore, based on everything else she has worn in the past, that outfit does not seem as "Vanessa-ish" as all her others.
