« Reply #30 on: June 06, 2004, 01:14:19 am »
I once recommended a song to a friend and she described it as "Chicken soup for the soul"
a phrae which is perfect for these guys. Thanks Rosie

They are call Trading Yesterday .. Give them a listen ... you more or ess feel what he's trying to say wih out him saying it ...
it's mellow and you know how sometimes you feel a wash of freedom when you listen to a song ... it sort of invigorates you and mkes you feel a new sense of ... I don't know ... but it's been  long time since I said ..
OH MY! The insant I heard a song ... maybe it's the acoustic guitary mood i'm in right now ...
Kind of mellow kind of happy ... kind of a whole bunch of everything ... just really really good ...

the lead singer of the band is David Hodges ... former keyboardist of Evanescence but thse guys are way different from the Ev ... who I never got into ...

Some songs are too mellow even for me in THIS mood ...
but World on Fire
What i'm Dreaming Of  (awesome song!!!)
Nothing But Love (awesome song!!!)
and Beautiful
are my favs so far ... :-)

ok cheers guys.

:D I'm so happy you like em.
I've been waiting for this CD for over a year.
I can only hope the band gets signed to a major label so they get some real distribution and get to go on tour too.

Yeah, I listened to them.  Of course the later well produced stuff sounds ok.  Not really feeling it but interesting to say the least.  Give it a listen and find out.

What suprises me is how good 'I'm So Sorry' sounds, even though it is an earlier recording ---and about god.   And from an atheist that is a compliment.;)

Click on BV's picture of them to listen.

The new album began mixing yesterday in Nashville.
It's so close I can almost taste that first single.

"One Day" will be the first single, hits adult radio mid April & pop radio mid June.
"More Than This" the new CD will hit stores July 26th.
