interesting question.
My 2 best friends I met my freshman year of highschool (9 years ago) and are still my best friends today.
But I also got some best friends online too, they probably know me even better than the friends 2 above.
Each has a different dynamic, it's hard to say which is the better friendship. But to answer the poll, I'd say "school".

I was thinking how weird it is, the other day, how, when you're not old enough to start school - The only friends you have are the ones you're related to. O_o

Anyway, school probably. Yeah, and through you friends at school, you meet kids from other schools, etc. See?

Yeah, same here. Met my best friend about 7 years ago in HS but most o my other friends these days came from the nessaholic community.

this is a really good question...I dunno its hard to say...I have the most friends at school naturally...but I always find I'd rather be with my outside of school friends who are friends of mine through my older sisters, and aren't in high school anymore for the most part. I'd have to say for quantity, school, but for quality school, through family. And everyone knows quality before quantity. So yeah :) I love debating with myself.

what can i say? i met the most amazing guy online ever who is now my closest friend....he means a lot to me....nothing never seemed so right in my life..i wouldnt trade the time i spend with him for anything in this world..hes very supportive.....i love him :oops:

oh and johnathan is one of my best friends too but not as close as the other guy....  :wink:

I meet people in random places like the bookstore or the bus.......the thing is that I don't pick just any type of friend.  I don't meet someone everyday for sure.....I can be quiet......but I'll get into a deep conversation with someone.  When we have been talking for a long time and very little has been small talk....then after so many times I get to know them more, an aquintance occurs.  I've met retired proffessors at the laundry mat of all places.

I met my best friend and partner in crime in the 2nd grade. :)
But there aren't many people from school or that are relatives who know me as well as some people I know online.

well i met some of my best friends at school, but my other two best friends i met at the vanessa show back in december!!!! hehe, it rocks! I love them both to deaaaaaath! Cant wait to go to college in buffalo so i can hang out with them allll the time!
