PS...by saying exactly how much you bid...all someone has to do is bid one penny more than you to win. Maybe you should edit that from your post...

yes, the trick is to bid at the last possible second. that's how i got my two signed Nessa posters from someone else. i bidded a dollar above theirs 5 seconds before the auction ended

tricia and amanda's advice is the best advice to follow when bidding on ebay. bidding can get nasty, but not if you're smart about it. we all need to agree on the paypal plan, or some other plan, and stick to it. that way, it's almost positive that one of us will get it and no one else.

p.s. - i can send $10 if we do the paypal thing

no problem!

i had an idea about what we could do if/after someone gets the tape. if there were a way to burn the tape on to a cd and send it to whoever wants a copy. i know it sounds like a lot, but if a few people made the cds it might be worthwhile. it also might be a good incentive for people to send you money to buy the tape.........just an idea

Dont worry, if this joint effort through Tricia works, everyone (especially those who contribute) will have access.
Since it is from a tape, quality cant be garenteed.
"Carnival" was from a tape... its decent quality.

i know of other places that burn old songs, and unreleased stuff of their favorite artist...

but if this girl would be kind enough to make a few copies of the tape, then it would be easier to get.

I agree, a trading tree would be nice, with those who donated getting first access. Of course, everone would get it, but to make special CD copies for those who contribute is uber nice.

lol that's what i meant. that would make it a lot nicer for the people who pay too. it usually takes me about 2 hours to download a song of a website, so it would take the hassle away for everyone.
