So if someone isn't cool you don't like him/her?  :?  Bit strange reasoned...

Anyway, can't wait to hear the full track of 'Bittersweet', sounds amazing :D

Yeah.. if someone isn't cool... Will I like this one?
The one needs to show me that he is cool, good and have a nice music and voice
And John Mayer has it all
So I think I can be his fan

then I think you and I have a different definition of what the word cool means

But I do agree with you on the part where he makes good music and has a great voice :)

Just my personal opinion, not a bash:  I can't seem to get past the notion that his voice is just secondary noise.  I'm not watching this topic for replies. 8)

Whether you're gonna look or not, I'm gonna respond anyways :p

It's the way that John fits his voice into his music, he's not exagerating and/or overloading his voice so much that you don't listen to the music anymore.. It's all about harmony :D

when did john say we're like his second home???!!?!? (fellow aussie here..)
I'm just depressed that his album isn't coming out til next year now, so that erases all my hope of another tour this year.

Actually I think it's fine he won't release a new album till next year. Gives him more time to write and think about what it is he wants next :)

I love john to pieces, i would die to have a tour, but my man needs a break. After 5 years on the road, he needs it. I think he's established himself really well in his career that's it safe he can take a break. I know the new stuff is just going to be kick ass, cause its John and he's smart about his music.

I just have to agree, I'd rather see him take a break and come out well rested than to see him play while he's on the edge of a burnout...

New songs? hhmm I'll have to hit up my JM source :-)
I bought heavier things ages ago like when it was first released .... but I skipped over songs .. they weren't taking my by surpirse enough ... but I just found it again, and wow .. there are songs that are simply amazing. Seriously .. but 3X5 will always be my favourite song ever.

Heavier Things is one of those albums you have to listen to over and over again to discover the beauty of it...  :D
Songs like Home Life and Somethings Missing seem very simple but are true musicall masterpieces if you listen closer   8)
