I've waited and waited, and waited some more for someone to start this, oh well.

You might know him from hits such as:

Hey Ya!
Miss Jackson
The Whole World
The Way You Move

And some more old stuff...

Anyways, I think  he is hella funny! And HEY YA! Is way to catchy hehe

And actually I've browsed radio station rock playlists, and some stations have been playing HEY YA! o.O!

"him" is actually "them"
Outkast is a duo, Big Boi & Andre.
Big Boi has got SPEED, just listen to "B.O.B.(Bombs Over Bahgdad)" That dude can rap a mile a minute.
Andre is the more creative ecentric one.

Their newest CD however is a double CD. Each of them did a solo project and it was bundled together.
Andre is the one on "Hey Ya".

I've always wondered why I never saw their thread! I would have started it a billion times I just assumed that it had already been started and my thread would get locked.

They are awesome! :D

I'm sorry Miss Carlton.. WOO!!!!

Yeah I was confussed about the whole thing, I had older CDs burned before, and then I saw the title written Outkast "Hey Ya! (Andre 3000)" and it just further confussed me...That helps alot though because I saw the CD on the charts and it said "Speaker Boxxx/The Love Below" and I wondered why they released "Hey Ya!" and "The Way You Move" at the same time...hehe

I got the DVD single with the video's a couple weeks back, its hella funny "Hey Ya!" video!

I was going to start an Outkast thread eventually, but I've been lazy as of late, heh.

I've always liked them as a unit and felt they worked very well together. I like Big Boi a bit more than Andre 3000 simply because some of his stuff is really weird and Big Boi is a tight rapper lol.

And yes, some alternative stations are actually playing "Hey Ya", which scares me but eh.

As soon as I get some money I am so buying Speakerboxxx/The Love Below.
For all you broken hearted lovers lost, go find another one. 'Cause you know time won't wait and you'll be late, white rabbits on the run...

Yeah, it's weird, I couldn't imagine,

"That's Metallica "St. Anger" now here's new stuff from Outkast "Hey Ya!" "

And even some of them were playing John Mayer "Bigger Than My Body"

Watch out hilery duff, is going rock!

Eh, to me I just thought...As long as they don't start playing 50 Cent, Ludacris and stupid crap 'music' like that one rock stations I'll be happy.

For your info , they said that this is the last Outkast project.
This is why there are two solo projects because they owed
Arista another album.  They officially broke up as a group like 4 or 5 months ago.  I actually don't like their newer stuff really, but I love the older stuff.  ATLiens is my favorite album of theirs of all time

I haven't heard the other song you guys are talking about there, but they keep playing the "Hey Ya!" vid on VIVA TV, and the other day Andre was on Interaktiv, an afternoon interview show and he was there all alone. I didn't really like the song at first - it's pretty far from being my kind of music - but it's really growing on me, now I always leave the vid on til the end when they play it hehe

there's only four seasons
and this one's almost gone
these nights feel so good
but this one's almost gone

hey ya is a hella fun song lol...

the coffin is freaky...but, ya know. The song really isn't "hip hop" but yet it is...so I guess that's why they play it on the Rock stations (freaked my system and everyone in my 3rd block class, I can say that much...)...

But the video is wicked!
