I dont get what you mean Aaron.
Paulini is going to be at Mt Druitt but what does it have to do with Delta?
Why did you quote something I said more than a year ago?

Or perhaps a 6th sense! Somehow I knew Delta was performing this week

On Tuesday, (Channel Nine entertainment reporter Richard) Wilkins will be in
Brisbane for the launch of the Portside Wharf – their version of (Sydney's)
Darling Harbour. By the way, Confidential hears a mystery performer, "the
darling of the Australian music scene" is being flown in for the launch.  Could
it be Delta Goodrem?

Goodrem to perform Portside

Delta Goodrem is the high-wattage mystery star performing at the launch of Brisbane's Portside development on Tuesday night.

Secrecy has shrouded the event, tipped to be one of the city's most glamourous for some time, with 300 Brisbane socialites on board. Goodrem will be supported by acclaimed classical guitarist brothers Slava and Leonard Grigoryan and flautist Jane Rutter. It is not known whether Goodrem's boyfriend Mark Philippoussis will be with her.

The launch will be hosted by TV stayer Richard Wilkins.

Organisers would not confirm or deny Goodrem's involvement.

Delta lets her hair down

Pop star Delta Goodrem has caused a splash at a party in Brisbane with her
first major performance on home soil since recovering from cancer last year.

The singer kicked off her shoes after the first song as she relaxed in front of
a crowd of 400 at the exclusive champagne-fuelled launch of the $300 million
Portside wharf development.

"I've got to get these off," she said, kicking her silver stilettos aside.

Relaxed and enjoying the spotlight, Goodrem performed for a captive audience
of real estate agents, property developers, politicians and prospective residents
of the 3.26-hectare unit complex and international cruise terminal on the banks
of the Brisbane River.

In a massive marquee decorated with an array of ice sculptures, the glamorous
songstress sang tunes from her award-winning album, Innocent Eyes, as the
audience cheered her homecoming.

Wearing a pink, floor-length gown, Goodrem gave an energetic performance,
firing up the crowd as she made her way through more than a dozen songs
during the almost hour-long concert.

Despite the cries of some members of the crowd who were asking where her
boyfriend Mark Philippoussis was, there was no sign of the Australian tennis
star whom she has been dating since the Australian Open this year.

Goodrem was in Sydney earlier yesterday to accept an award for her album
which held the top spot on the Australian chart for l8 weeks at the same time
her singles 'Not Me, Not I' and 'Predictable' also held number one.

Goodrem has sold more than 2.5 million copies of the album internationally
and is currently working on a follow-up release in London.

The event, hosted by former Test cricketer Max Walker, raised $20,000 for
Care Australia.
