aahhh the trailer looks SO good! this movie is supposed to follow the book more, has 2 new songs, and no sumersaulting willy wonka. all i know is, it's Johny Depp, so the likelihood of this being a good movie is way up there

yeah, most of my friends like, are in love with Johnny. but i think i'll just see it to see how much different it is from the last movie

it's not so much that i'm in love with Johny Depp, but that i trust his movies to be good. He's (for the most part) made excellent movies and is (in my opinion) an excellent actor.

I remember hearing that MM was going to be in it! I was so excited! too bad but they also say he might have a small role in it... it could be complete bs though.

I've seen many of his movies because my friends love him.

And I did see Finding Neverland, and a lot of it was bull shit. We learned about James M. Barry in Psychology and that movie was a load of crap.

however, I did hear the FN was just based on the story of Barrie...not a full on biography of him

I'm interested in this movie. Tim Burton usually has an interesting vision and Danny Elfman makes great music. However, I saw a strange trailer... it was like family-friendly weirdness. But that worked for The Nightmare Before Christmas and I love that movie.

Johnny Depp looks really odd. :?

I never saw Finding Neverland but I wanted to... I might see it eventually.

Excellent movie....one of the funniest and best of the year so far


Depp owns this role.  Gene Wilder was great, but Depp is an amazing Wonka.  

give him a fucking Oscar already...it's long overdue

I just saw it tonight.
The movie was definitely interesting, a bit odd to me though. Probably because I haven't read the book.
But it was good overall, I had a good time watching it.
