ummmmm HELLO - it's hebrew ---again it's transliteration
meaning that it is a sound thing and not a spelling thing - hebrew has it's own alphabet ---- so....

shom-esh
and shamash

are the same F***ing thing!!!

did i not just have this conversation about the spelling of the word chanukah????

Um well, other than the fact that i have premo-pms lately - it's stress all the stress - it bothers me when i just had the same conversation like 2 minutes before - i am taking hebrew right now every monday night and i used to work in a field that i was forced to teach others hebrew and use it all the time - on top of it i have been to israel and have plenty of israeli friends - i just feel people should have some sense to think i know what i am talking about *given most of the time i don't - but in this situation i do!* - don't doubt my hebrew skillz playa!!!!!

We didn't have that conversation about transliteration in this thread Steph i'm sure of it. And you always ask people to be kind to others. Just because she was a little misinformed doesn't mean you had to say it in such a way.
