it was the best fuckin day of my life!!
Sorry its late- i got home late last night and wanted to sleep because i had no sleep for 60 hours (no joke) its possible lol
So my mom, dad, and my friend drove from Ohio and we left at 3am Sat. It took us 10 hours to get there and it didn't help that it snowed like crazy the whole way.
So then we finally got th NYC and from being in a car the whole day i was kinda gross lol so we went to a hotel couple blocks down from Sony Studios and i had to wash my hair in the bathroom sink. lol But thats a whole nother story in itself.
Then we went to the studies where i met all the Nessaholics *you guys rock* and we got interview by Stephen (who was REALLY nice and funny)
(Since not too many people showed up, my friend who cam along with me got to be in the interview/showcase too. she was pretty pyched!
My dad talked with stephen's dad for 1 1/2 hours and they were talking about V and her new album and Stephen and V lol they were going wayyy back :lol:
Then Vanessa came in and i sat on stage with her while she performed Morning Sting, C'est La Vie, San Fransisco, Papa, and Afterglow. They were sooo pretty- i like them better then some songs on BNN. Then we got the chance to ask her questions and she told us about her clown shirt lol (it was pretty funny, speciall when she was like, "wait, how do u know about the clown shirt?" she was kinda surprised.) and she talked about herself and her songs. (she did not want to talk about C'est La Vie and what it was about - Steve asked her and she kinda avoided the queston)
Then after the concert, we got the chance to talk to her and get pics and autographs. i talked to her and she was sooo surprsed i drove 10 hours to see her. (as if i wouldnt???) and i got pics with her and autographs and she was SOOOOO sweet. i was so nervous!!! i thought i was gonna break down and go crazy, and i really wanted to play for her because i know all i ask (cant really ply that one for her :wink: ), papa, c'est la vie, and her ones on BNN. but i thought i wouldnt be able to do that. i loved her shoes- i wanted to take them lol and for 15$!! she looked so beautiful too. and she gave me her water bottle0 she drank out of it
when we went to the car after the show, i broke down and started crying. it was surreal. so on the way home, we were driving through NYC and we passed this store on Broadway and there was a scarf in the window and it was a piano keyboard (adorable) so i made my dad stop in the middle of the street and i ran in the store and got it. so cute! lol
so we stayed in New Jersey for the night b/c we wanted to get away rom all of the snow and stuff in NYC. so at 6.30 am sunday, the fire alarm went offf and my family had to go outside (10 degrees) and i was in a tank and shorts. we had to stand outside and the only things i brought with me were my autographs lol forget the warm clothes. lol turns out it was a fake alarm. :?
but my family and i loved NYC so much were going at Xmas again!!! so excited!
in the beginning of the school year in guidence class, we had to list 3 dreams and mine were 1. visit nyc, 2. meet vanessa carlton, 3. become a musician. 2 of them cametrue in 1 day! lol it was the best!!!
so that was my trip and it was the best day of my life!!!
**Steve- my dad recorded the meet and greet and he has a tape of you playng with V.i can send it to u if you want.
