Ben's been MIA lately not touring on the road, since he is in Georgia recording his sophomore album and harmonizing w/ a newer band, but soon you lucky few will see him perform LIVE debuting songs off his second album...

so keep this date in mind: Dec. 5th, 2004 - New York, NY - Knitting Factory (tickets are not available - we'll keep you posted)

i knooowww. the internet kinda killed his record sales since it was really only the hard core, or at least anti downloading, fans that bought his cd.

i think he's recording in georgia, that's what he said in his last post. i'm trying to do everything in my power to get down there for the show, but i don't think it's going to work out :-/

There was zero publicity on the part of the record company. I never once saw the video on TV or heard anything about him in the mass media.

this is true. but most people i know just downloaded his songs instead of buying his cd.

but yeah, maverick did just about nothing to promote him. he was on TRL once, which is good, and i know Rocks does a lot on the website, but outside of that i haven't seen a whoole lot of promo on him. hopefully things will be different for the second album.

Did anybody else besides me find it funny that they would use the word harmonizing?

yes, I must be more obsessed with Nessa than I thought

And I was just wondering what happened to Ben Jelen... I was gonna bump this thread to, so that's good to hear.
