Anne of Green Gables!!!

These are my favorite books evar! I LOVE the first book, Anne of Green Gables, by Lucy M. Montgomery. There are seven other books that follow. Even though they are classified as childrens' books, i still read them when i can. I highly recommend them if you want some fun, light reading, that has heart to it. They're books for all ages.

My sister and I grew up on the movie. There are several versions of it I think, but the one we watch is the one from the 1980's. It was made in Canada, the director was Kevin Sullivan. I think it won some Gemini awards as well (the equivalent to the Oscars). The cast is amazing. Megan Follows plays Anne, Jonathon Crombie *swoons* plays Gilbert, Colleen Dewhurst plays Marilla, and Schyler Grant plays Diana.

Anne of Green Gables!! When i was in year 5 i thought that book was very advanced and read it just to look clever- it had such hard language! I really enjoyed it in the end, though i can't remember much of it.

YAY! I looooooooooooooooooooove Anne of Green Gables. I read the entire Anne of Avonlea series when I was like 12. Plus all the Chronicles of Avonlea that came after. I have the collectors edition of Anne of Green Gables and a doll.  I used to watch Avonlea the show on the disney channel religiously. I still really want to go to Prince Edward Island. hehe..you can say I was a bit obsessed.

I think Anne was a reason why I decided I loved red hair too. I could never understand why she'd try to dye over gorgeous red hair. I do anything to make my hair red.  silly Anne.

yay! someone else who loves AOGG just as me :-P and i LOVED Road to Avonlea! lmao i used to want to be Sarah Stanley. My friend goes to Canada every year and they visit the light house and go LMM's house. The pictures she brings back are beautiful!

see, i like to say "focused," rather than "obsessed."  :wink: Obsession usually goes along the lines of stalker, and unless Toni's stalking Megan Follows, she's healthily "focused." :-P

 8O lmao, if i were going to stalk anyone from that movie it would have to be Jonathon Crombie (Glibert). however, he's almost 40 now and that's just wrong :-P
